This Privacy Policy explains how Amoozora, a product of Glyphora (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you use our web dashboard, mobile applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account details: name, email, phone number, date of birth, profile photo, password hash.
- Student & parent data: enrolment number, programme, semester, course progress, quiz scores, certificates.
- Payment information: transaction IDs, payment mode, billing address. Card/UPI/bank credentials are handled by our payment partner (Razorpay) and never stored on our servers.
- Support & feedback: messages, screenshots, or recordings you voluntarily share.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and app identifiers, OS version, IP address, time zone, approximate location (derived from IP).
- Service usage analytics (pages viewed, lessons played, duration) via PostHog.
- Crash reports and diagnostic logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies for session management and authentication.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service and its features.
- To authenticate you and secure your account.
- To process payments, subscriptions, refunds, and issue invoices.
- To send transactional messages (receipts, OTPs, class reminders) and, with consent, marketing updates.
- To generate de-identified analytics and research insights.
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, and prevent fraud or abuse.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share data only as follows:
- Your institute / organization: if you register through a coaching centre or school using Amoozora, your academic data is visible to authorised staff of that institute.
- Service providers: payment processors (Razorpay, Stripe), cloud infrastructure (Supabase, Vercel, DigitalOcean Spaces), messaging (Twilio, WhatsApp Business API, Expo Push), video (VDOCipher, LiveKit), analytics (PostHog). Each is contractually bound to confidentiality.
- Legal & safety: to comply with applicable law, court orders, or to protect rights, property, and safety.
- Corporate events: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to this Policy.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account at any time; certain records (e.g. payment invoices) may be retained for up to 8 years to meet statutory requirements under Indian tax and commercial law.
5. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), at-rest encryption for databases, row-level security for multi-tenant isolation, bcrypt password hashing, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
6. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access and obtain a copy of your personal data.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Withdraw consent for optional processing (e.g. marketing messages).
- Port your data in a commonly used format.

7. Children
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and above. Where a user is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent and may use the parent-linking feature to monitor academic progress.
8. International Transfers
Amoozora is operated from India. If you access the Service from outside India, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in India. By using the Service, you consent to such transfer.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. Material changes will be notified via email or an in-app notice at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
